A major global asset manager is looking to hire an Investment Analyst to join the sustainable research team. As part of the global research team, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing sustainability research supporting portfolio managers across equities and fixed income. The sustainable research team integrates a proprietary environmental, social and governance (ESG) scoring model with fundamental analysis.

Duties:

  • Conduct detailed stock specific ESG research across a number of sectors developing an understanding of valuation implications
  • Writing thematic articles on the impact on investment of sustainability issues
  • Contribute to investment discussions, specifically on topics in relation to Environmental, Social and Governance issues
  • Engaging with companies on ESG issues and tracking the impact of this over time

Requirements:

  • Previous analytical experience between 1 and 3 years’, ideally on the buy-side
  • Demonstrate an interest in environmental, social and governance factors
  • Willing to study towards CFA qualification
  • Excellent academic record
