An established investment management firm based in the west end is looking for an Institutional Client/Sales Manager to join their Institutional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a client or sales associate that is looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting into the Head of Institutional, you will receive training to gradually evolve into a client-facing sales role. Immediate responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing professional relationships with clients and consultants.
  2. Act as the point of contact for client queries – understand individual client needs and be able to tailor a response.
  3. Ability to undertake research on target markets, identifying potential prospects and suitable strategies.
  4. Attend meetings with existing and target clients. Facilitate and prepare materials for meetings.
  5. Ensure RFPs are co-ordinated internally and have input into final messaging.

Our client is looking for a candidate with the following attributes:

  1. 4+ years’ experience in an institutional client or sales associate role.
  2. A dedicated, energetic, and confident attitude.
  3. Desire to learn and progress into a Sales Manager position.
  4. Ability to build excellent relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  5. Investment management industry experience is essential.
  6. Industry qualifications such as the CFA (or studying towards) would be beneficial.
