Mason Blake is a boutique recruitment consultancy specialising exclusively in the investment management industry. Established for over 20 years, we work closely with leading investment managers across Investments, Product and Distribution.
We are now hiring a Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our Shoreditch office. This is a sales-led role , suited to ambitious graduates who are motivated by targets, progression and building a career in a commercial environment.
This role is in our boutique Shoreditch office and offers structured training, clear career progression and the opportunity to develop into a high-performing consultant.
The Role
As a Graduate Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for developing candidate relationships, supporting live mandates and learning how to operate in a professional, sales-driven recruitment environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Actively sourcing and engaging candidates for live roles, while proactively developing market coverage within your assigned sector
- Speaking daily with candidates and prospective clients via phone and video, building long-term professional relationships
- Supporting business development activity by identifying new client opportunities and contributing to client outreach
- Writing job adverts and marketing live roles to attract high-quality, relevant candidates
- Building and maintaining a strong candidate network within the investment management industry
- Networking candidates to generate referrals, market intelligence and new business leads
- Keeping the CRM/database accurate and up to date, logging candidate and client interactions
- Learning the investment management industry and Mason Blake’s specialist markets, with the aim of becoming a trusted market expert
About You
We are looking for individuals who are driven, resilient and commercially minded.
You will ideally have:
- A recent degree from a reputable university
- The permanent right to work in the UK (we are unable to accept Graduate Visa holders or provide sponsorship)
- Some exposure to a sales, office or customer-facing environment beneficial
- Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone
- A target-driven mindset and willingness to be coached
- High levels of self-motivation and organisation
- A professional, personable approach with strong attention to detail
