A global asset management firm is looking to hire a credit research professional to join its established Global Credit investment team. This individual will play a key role in covering global Investment Grade and High Yield credit markets, with responsibility for one or more dedicated sectors.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform fundamental credit research across the corporate debt spectrum within assigned sectors, generating actionable investment ideas
- Build and maintain financial models including relative value and capital structure analysis
- Monitor and analyse issuer and sector specific news, earning releases and other market events, assessing their impact on credit worthiness and portfolio positioning
- Integrate ESG considerations into credit investment decisions, working closely with internal ESG and Sustainability specialists
- Engage with company management and attend roadshows and industry conferences
- Contribute to investment meetings and maintain constant dialogue with portfolio managers, traders and fellow analysts
- Liaise with sell-side research providers to gather insights to inform investment decisions
- Attend client meetings and contribute to investment commentary and marketing materials as required
Key requirements:
- 3-7 years of credit research experience gained on buy-side, sell-side or ratings agency
- Strong understanding of global credit markets with ability to analysis issuers across the capital structure
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
- Degree educated and CFA designation would be preferred
- Positive, can-do mindset
- Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
