Our Client, a leading Global Asset Manager, is currently looking for someone to join as a Fund Manager's Assistant. The position sits within the front office, working closely with Portfolio Managers, covering equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and institutional/segregated portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring cash positions, cash flows, and cash balances.
- Working daily alongside portfolio managers to support and assist.
- Representing PMs on change management projects.
- Liaising with Operational, Product Development, Technology, Legal & Change Management teams and external clients/vendors.
- Implementation of investment decisions, taking into account cash, investment guidelines, benchmarks, and fund sizes.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable statutory requirements.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience within a similar role – ideally within the front office.
- IOC Qualification (or equivalent).
- Advanced level Excel skills are a must; Bloomberg knowledge is desirable, along with an interest in current affairs.
- Proven understanding of Equity or Fixed Income markets and order generation.
