Our client, a leading asset manager, is looking to recruit a Trader to join the trading desk in London.
This individual will step into a trading environment that works closely with Portfolio Managers to provide significant input on market sentiment and trade execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute trades across equity markets
- Assess ongoing market information that creates investment opportunities and communicate relevant insight to Portfolio Managers
- Analyse data and cost analytics to improve trade execution across asset classes
- Monitor market activity to ensure best execution at all times
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with brokers and counterparties, ensuring good trade execution
Experience & Skills required:
- 3-6 years’ trading experience at a buy-side or sell-side institution
- Trading experience in equity markets
- Excellent quantitative skills, preferably with some coding experience
- Good team player who is able to work within a highly collaborative working environment
- Confident and articulate with the ability to thrive under pressure
