For Companies Our client, a leading global asset manager, is looking to recruit an Equity Research Analyst to cover the MedTech sector. The successful candidate will work independently to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the MedTech sector and generate investment recommendations for a range of portfolios.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed bottom-up fundamental equity analysis of stocks to generate investment ideas
- Produce and maintain financial models, keeping abreast of any market developments
- Communicate research and stock ideas with Portfolio Managers and the rest of the investment team
- Participate in company management meetings and site visits
- Contribute to wider investment debate
Candidate profile:
- Relevant experience within buy-side or sell-side equity research
- Deep knowledge of the MedTech sector
- Excellent academic background
- Ideally CFA qualified
- Genuine passion for investing
- Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative
- High level of intellectual curiosity
- Team player
