An exciting opportunity to join a global investment management firm with an exceptional performance track record. The firm is looking to hire a motivated Equity Research Analyst to cover the Global Energy sector including both conventional and sustainable energy companies.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed fundamental analysis of energy companies
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment thesis and valuation frameworks
- Generate high-conviction investment ideas for inclusion in relevant portfolios
- Perform macro-level research on global energy markets including regulatory, technological, and ESG developments
- Present well-articulated investment recommendations at weekly investment committee meetings
- Monitor and update research on existing portfolio holdings
- Regularly engage with company management and attend conferences to gather insights
- Contribute to ESG engagement efforts
Candidate Profile:
- 2-4 years of equity research experience
- Relevant work experience and knowledge of the energy sector is a plus
