A leading investment management firm has an excellent opportunity to join one of their flagship funds as an Investment Specialist. The individual will be embedded within the Investment team and work closely with their Client Groups globally. You will be responsible for thoughtfully positioning the team’s investment strategies in the minds of investors, with a primary focus on global equity strategies. The primary function of this role is ultimately to help grow the book of business.
Role responsibilities include:
- Leading as well as preparing pitches to new potential clients
- Engage with clients to communicate investment philosophy, strategy and performance
- Working closely with key strategic partners
- Speaking internally and at industry or client conferences
- Develop content to highlight portfolio positioning, market trends and optimise competitive positioning
- Work closely with marketing and client teams to oversee effective messaging of strategies and sign off collateral
- Assisting with product strategy/development and management for the team’s strategies
Key requirements for the role:
- 5+ years’ experience in the investment management industry
- Experience working in an equity product specialist or equity investment position is essential
- The ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally is essential
- A demonstrated interest in global equity investing and strong technical knowledge
- Strong analytical skills and logical thinker
- CFA qualified (or currently studying towards)
