Our client is a leading Wealth Management firm, renowned for their recent growth. Due to continued success, they are now seeking a skilled Consulting Services Business Development Manager to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Head of, the Business Development Manager will take on the following dynamic responsibilities:
- Set and achieve business targets by leading efforts with accountants, actuarial tax consultants, and other intermediaries.
- Proactively identify and cultivate business development opportunities, ensuring alignment with client needs and revenue/profitability goals.
- Collaborate with Proposition teams to deliver tailored solutions for new and existing clients, supporting channel growth.
- Drive sales initiatives, events, PR efforts, and marketing campaigns in partnership with law firms and Marketing colleagues.
- Build and lead a small, empowered team of specialists and support staff to drive business growth, fostering strong communication with regional and London-based teams.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skillset:
- Demonstrated success in distribution, especially with medium to large intermediated firms, managing complex mandates.
- Strategic influencer with creative problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities to manage change and navigate complexity.
- Professional credibility with a background in Accountancy or Financial Planning, coupled with strong personal integrity and leadership skills.
- 5+ years of experience within Wealth or Asset Management.
