Initial 6 month contract - This is not a Project management/BA role - they are requiring a client Operations/Client Service Manager from the buy-side who has worked on this type of project.
Seeking a highly organised and proactive Client Service professional who has supported/run the design, implementation, and embedding of a comprehensive contract management and governance framework across the department. This role will play a key part in enhancing control, transparency, and operational efficiency across contract lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Framework Design & Implementation
- Design, implement, and document an end-to-end contract management framework across Distribution Services and Client Operations.
- Cover a range of contract types including distribution agreements, rebate agreements, and ring-fencing agreements.
- Define clear ownership, responsibilities, and standard operating procedures.
- Contract Management & Optimisation
- Partner with project teams to migrate all legal contracts into a centralised repository.
- Review existing rebate agreements to assess relevance and identify opportunities to terminate legacy or redundant contracts.
- Support the UK team with rebate contract management where required.
- Governance & Compliance
- Collaborate with Financial Crime/AML teams to ensure all active agreements meet anti-financial crime requirements.
- Establish and embed governance standards aligned to regulatory and internal policy expectations.
- Transition the framework into business-as-usual (BAU) with clear ownership and long-term sustainability.
- Training & Adoption
- Develop training materials, user guides, and supporting documentation to enable BAU adoption.
- Deliver training sessions to stakeholders and end users.
- Strong organisational skills with experience in documentation and process design.
- Experience working with legal agreements, contract lifecycle management, or governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with contract execution or document management systems (e.g. DocuSign or similar).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple teams and functions.
- Ability to deliver training and produce clear, user-friendly materials.
- Understanding of AML / financial crime requirements (or ability to quickly build knowledge).
