Our client is a top-tier asset management firm looking for a Business Development VP with primary coverage of the Middle East to join their Sales team. This role can either be based out of Dubai or London. The position is ideal for an entrepreneurial and charismatic sales professional looking to accelerate their career in a role that provides autonomy while maintaining a collaborative team structure. In return for five or more years of experience, the role will grant you invaluable experience and a generous compensation package.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively lead the fundraising capabilities on behalf of the firm, raising capital across a range of asset classes.
  • Build strong relationships with institutional investors within the region, having a strong understanding of Sharia‑compliant product development and governance.
  • Drive asset‑raising initiatives across the Middle East with coverage of institutional clients, managing key relationships with an extensive client pool.
  • Organise roadshows and participate in events to expand the firm's presence, generating and capitalising on new opportunities.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in business development or sales within investment management.
  • Book of institutional clients within the MENA region.
  • Self‑motivated, with a desire to own a pool of large accounts.
  • Highly organised and engaging, able to work across multiple internal teams and build relationships with stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Arabic speaker preferred.
