We’re proud of our open, supportive, and collaborative culture. We value people as much as expertise and are committed to diversity, inclusion, and making a positive contribution to our communities. The Opportunity
As a Senior Consultant specialising in Cyber Security, you’ll work across the full engagement lifecycle — shaping proposals, defining solutions, delivering client engagements, and providing trusted advice. You’ll join a high‑performing, non‑hierarchical team where your expertise will be valued and your development actively supported. You will lead and deliver cyber security projects across domains such as risk management, governance, security architecture, and operations. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep cyber expertise with strong consulting skills and the ability to translate technical issues into business impact.
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of cyber security engagements, from planning through execution and reporting.
- Assess client cyber maturity, identify risks, and evaluate control effectiveness.
- Design pragmatic, business‑aligned security improvements, architectures, and operating models.
- Advise clients on regulatory and standards compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).
- Produce clear, concise, executive‑ready reports, presentations, and recommendations.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, managing day‑to‑day workplans and key stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats, industry developments, and relevant technologies.
- Coach and support junior team members, contributing to capability development.
- Support proposal writing, solution shaping, and broader business development activity.
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in cyber security consulting or in‑house security roles.
- Additional consulting experience with direct client engagement.
- Hands‑on delivery of cyber assessments, security transformations, or resilience programmes.
- Experience working with regulated or security‑sensitive organisations.
- Strong understanding of threat vectors, vulnerabilities, and security controls.
- Proven ability to translate technical risk into commercial and operational terms.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders (CIO, CISO, Risk & Compliance leaders).
- Background in consulting, systems integrators, or service providers is desirable.
- Understanding of digital transformation trends and the wider technology landscape.
- Ability to obtain UK security clearance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- One or more recognised security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer).
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical thinking, structured problem‑solving, and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities, and balance security with real‑world operational needs.
- Collaborative mindset and desire to learn and grow within a supportive environment.
