Mason Advisory is an award‑winning digital and technology consultancy helping organisations deliver real business value through smarter use of technology. Since 2014, we’ve partnered with public and private sector clients across digital transformation, cloud, architecture, cyber security, sourcing, business change, and major IT programmes. We’re proud of our open, supportive, and collaborative culture. We value people as much as expertise, and we’re committed to diversity, inclusion, and meaningful community impact. As we continue our growth journey, we are expanding our consulting team with experienced Senior Business Change Specialists who want to make a visible difference.
As a Senior Consultant specialising in Business Change, you’ll work across the full engagement lifecycle — shaping proposals, planning change strategies, delivering organisational change workstreams, and providing advisory support to senior leaders. You’ll join a high‑performing, non‑hierarchical team where your contribution is recognised and your development actively supported. You’ll help clients design, implement, and embed change that enables people, processes, and organisations to operate effectively within major transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of business change, organisational change management (OCM), and operating model workstreams within complex transformation programmes.
- Assess organisational readiness, change impacts, adoption challenges, and potential risks.
- Design and implement change strategies covering leadership alignment, communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop Target Operating Models (TOMs) including processes, roles, governance structures, and ways of working.
- Support organisational design, role profiling, workforce transition, and capability planning.
- Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement, communications, and learning activities.
- Track, measure, and manage adoption, behavioural change, and benefits realisation.
- Produce clear, insight‑led reports, materials, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Manage client relationships and coordinate day‑to‑day delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Coach and support junior consultants and contribute to team capability building.
- Support proposals, bids, and wider business development activity.
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in business change, organisational change management, operating model design, or consulting roles.
- Experience working in a consulting environment.
- Hands‑on experience delivering change within complex programmes such as digital transformation, technology modernisation, or operating model redesign.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders (e.g., COO, HR Director, Transformation Lead).
- Strong understanding of change impacts, stakeholder motivations, resistance management, and behavioural adoption.
- Experience in organisational design, process change, and people‑centred aspects of transformation.
- Proven experience driving adoption and behavioural change — not just delivering change artefacts.
- Comfortable operating in matrixed, multi‑stakeholder, and fast‑moving environments.
- Ability to obtain UK security clearance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or equivalent experience in business, psychology, HR, organisational development, or related fields.
- Change management certifications such as Prosci, APMG Change Management, or Agile Change are beneficial.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and structured problem‑solving capability.
- Ability to balance people, process, and technology considerations in complex environments.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and at pace.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
