About Maslow's
At Maslow'sour mission is to create a collection of luxury workspaces andmembers' housesthat are developed and operated within unique spaces in vibrant neighbourhoods and beautiful settings, always with an emphasis on locality, serving the needs of visitors and locals alike.
We opened the doors of our first site, Mortimer House in London's Fitzrovia, in late 2017. Our second London House - 1 Warwick, opened in Soho, March 2023.Maslow's Kensington was opened in June 2026.
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical/trade background to work across our houses. You'll help keep our buildings operating safely, efficiently and looking their best, delivering planned maintenance and responsive repairs with minimal disruption to the member experience. You'll be a practical problem-solver who takes pride in doing things properly. You'll be equally comfortable fault-finding, carrying out repairs and dealing professionally with members, colleagues and contractors.
This role would suit someone who has developed a solid trade skill but enjoys being an all-round problem-solver rather than working exclusively within one discipline.
You'll take ownership of issues, know what you can safely resolve yourself and recognise when specialist support is required. Just as importantly, you'll understand that in a member-facing environment, how maintenance work is carried out matters as much as completing the repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across all three sites.
- Diagnose faults and undertake appropriate electrical maintenance and repairs within your level of competence.
- Carry out general multi-trade maintenance including basic plumbing, carpentry and building-fabric repairs.
- Paint and decorate to a high standard appropriate to a premium environment.
- Undertake general roofing maintenance and minor repairs.
- Carry out repairs to carpets and flooring.
- Complete general handyman duties, including moving and lifting furniture where required.
- Identify when specialist or certified contractor support is required and work effectively alongside external contractors.
- Log, manage and close maintenance jobs accurately using our smartphone/tablet-based job management system.
- Keep colleagues, members and clients informed about maintenance work, progress and expected completion.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
- Deliver excellent service and live our values in everything you do.
Required Skills and Experience
Essential
- A recognised electrical qualification and/or demonstrable professional electrical trade experience.
- Strong practical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance.
- Ability and willingness to undertake general multi-trade maintenance alongside your core trade.
- Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills.
- A professional, service-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise competing maintenance requirements.
- A clean UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience working in hospitality, members' clubs, commercial property or another premium environment.
- Broader experience across plumbing, carpentry, decorating and general building maintenance.
- Working knowledge of COSHH and RAMS.
- Experience using a digital maintenance/job-management system.
*Please note that we do not have a Skilled WorkerSponsorLicense.
