As our portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious Property & Projects Manager to take ownership of our estate, ensuring our buildings remain best in class while supporting new developments, refurbishments and long‑term asset planning.

This is a highly visible role that combines property management, project delivery, capital planning and strategic asset support across a growing London portfolio.

The successful candidate will work closely with the COO, CFO and Executive Team and will play a key role in shaping the future estate strategy of the business.

Purpose of the Role

To ensure Maslows' portfolio is maintained to the highest possible standard while successfully delivering refurbishment projects, supporting new developments and helping maximise the long‑term value of the estate.

The role combines operational delivery with strategic thinking and offers an excellent development opportunity into a future Head of Property position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property Management
  • Own the day-to-day management of the property portfolio.
  • Develop relationships with landlords, managing agents and consultants.
  • Manage planned preventative maintenance.
  • Oversee reactive maintenance and building improvements.
  • Ensure statutory compliance.
  • Review service charge budgets and lease obligations.
  • Maintain accurate property records.
  • Property & Projects Management
  • Deliver new site openings, fit‑outs, refurbishments and capital projects.
  • Manage consultants, procurement, contractors, budgets, programmes, risks and executive reporting.
  • Complete snagging and handovers.
  • Asset Management Support
  • Monitor portfolio performance.
  • Support acquisitions and due diligence.
  • Prepare business cases for capital investment.
  • Review space utilisation.
  • Support lease renewals and estate planning.
  • Maintain a rolling five‑year asset plan.
  • Capital Investment & Financial Management
  • Prepare annual Cap Ex budgets.
  • Manage Cap Ex delivery and forecasting.
  • Monitor project expenditure.
  • Approve contractor valuations and invoices.
  • Evaluate project returns.
  • Procurement & Contractor Management
  • Manage architects, surveyors, designers, contractors, FM providers and local authorities.
  • Develop preferred supplier frameworks and monitor KPIs.
  • Sustainability & ESG
  • Deliver energy reduction, carbon reduction, waste reduction and building efficiency initiatives.
  • Compliance & Risk
  • Support statutory compliance, fire safety, contractor compliance and risk management.
  • Strategic Projects
  • Support acquisitions, business integrations, technology implementation and workplace innovation.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Degree in Building Surveying, Real Estate, Construction Management or similar.
  • 3-5 years' commercial property experience.
  • Experience delivering refurbishment projects.
  • Strong contractor and stakeholder management.
  • Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent Excel and reporting skills.

Desirable

  • MRICS or working towards MRICS.
  • Flexible workspace or hospitality experience.
  • Commercial lease and service charge knowledge.
  • CAFM systems experience.
  • Prince2, APM or similar qualification.
