This hands‑on role requires a detail‑oriented individual who thrives in fast‑paced environments and is passionate about executing flawless events. You will ensure that all aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown are carried out smoothly. Your ability to solve problems quickly, communicate effectively, and lead by example will be crucial in delivering exceptional event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Setup & Execution: Coordinate and oversee the physical setup of event spaces, including seating arrangements, AV equipment, lighting, décor, and signage. Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly, maintaining a high level of customer service. Assist in managing guest flow and crowd control, ensuring a smooth and safe event experience.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the Events team to ensure timely delivery and placement of materials and supplies (when necessary). Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff, bar staff, and service team members to ensure food and beverage service runs smoothly. Oversee the inventory of event supplies, ensuring all necessary items are available and in good condition (candles, candle holders, table cloths, linen…).
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures during events, ensuring the well‑being of all attendees and staff (closing of the windows/balcony door after 9:30pm…). Conduct pre‑event safety checks and briefings with the event team to ensure everyone is aware of their responsibilities.
- Post‑Event Responsibilities: Coordinate the breakdown and cleanup of the event space, ensuring it is returned to its original condition. Assist in the post‑event debriefing, providing feedback and suggestions for future improvements. Compile reports on event performance, including any challenges faced and how they were resolved.
