The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Barista to join our dynamic team. If you have a flair for mixology, a friendly manner, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality beverages to our customers while delivering exceptional customer service. Your knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, attention to detail, and ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere will contribute to an enjoyable beverage experience for our customers and members.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Taking drink orders and serving guests with efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on customer preferences and our menu.
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar area according to established guidelines and ensuring all supplies are well-stocked.
- Handling cash transactions and accurately processing payments.
- Engaging with customers, building rapport, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new coffee blends, and brewing techniques.
- Participate in training sessions to expand knowledge of coffee varieties and flavour profiles.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and presentation.
- Demonstrating knowledge of various cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and coffee preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
