The Role
We have 2 vacancies for skilled and passionate Baristas to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages to our customers while delivering exceptional customer service. Your knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, attention to detail, and ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere will contribute to an enjoyable coffee experience for our customers and members.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on customer preferences and our menu.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area according to established guidelines and ensure all supplies are well-stocked.
- Handle cash transactions and accurately process payments.
- Engage with customers, build rapport, and ensure their overall satisfaction.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new coffee blends, and brewing techniques.
- Participate in training sessions to expand knowledge of coffee varieties and flavour profiles.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and coffee preparation techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
