Maslow are exclusively supporting a global manufacturer undertaking a significant modernisation of its core business systems. This is a high-impact SAP Solution Engineer role, playing a central part in an ECC to S / 4HANA transformation, with a strong focus on ABAP development and SAP BTP-based solution design. This is a delivery-focused position where you will design, build, and implement scalable SAP solutions that will underpin the organisation’s technology roadmap for years to come.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design and deliver complex SAP solutions aligned to ECC to S / 4HANA migration
- Develop high-quality ABAP solutions including OO ABAP and RAP
- Build and extend cloud applications on SAP BTP using CAP and RAP models
- Create secure and reliable integrations between ECC, S / 4HANA, and SAP BTP
- Develop Fiori / UI5 applications and OData services to enhance user experience
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with long-term supportability in mind
- Support testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilisation phases
- Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to code reviews
- Apply DevOps principles including version control, CI / CD, and automated testing
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into best-practice SAP solutions
- Keep pace with SAP innovation and proactively introduce new capabilities where appropriate
What We Are Looking For
- Strong hands-on ABAP development experience including OO ABAP
- Proven involvement in SAP ECC to S / 4HANA migration programmes
- SAP BTP development experience, ideally using CAP and / or RAP
- Experience building Fiori / UI5 applications and OData services
- Strong understanding of SAP system landscapes and integration patterns
- Experience integrating SAP BTP with ECC and S / 4HANA using APIs and web services
- Confident working autonomously while collaborating with distributed teams
- Either fully established in the above, or operating at a level with clear room to grow
Nice to Have
- SAP, BCS, or Computer Science related certifications
- Exposure to SAP Cloud Foundry, Extension Suite, or Integration Suite
- Experience with C#, Visual Studio, Eclipse, or MS SQL
- Awareness of SAP security architecture and cloud compliance standards
Location & Working Model
- Flexible working available: South West on-site, hybrid, or fully remote
- Initial onboarding period on site
- Occasional travel to the South West of England as required
- Expenses paid where travel is required for non-local candidates
