The Opportunity
A well-established UK engineering business is about to begin a greenfield implementation of IFS Cloud, replacing a legacy SAP environment that has been in place for many years. This is a chance to join at the very start of a major ERP transformation programme and be developed into an IFS Functional Specialist as the project progresses.
To support the programme, we are building a small team of bright, ambitious Junior ERP / Business Systems Analysts who want to learn how an ERP system is designed, implemented, tested, and embedded into a business from day one. You will work alongside experienced IFS consultants and senior stakeholders, learning how business processes are translated into system solutions and gradually taking ownership of parts of the system as the programme moves towards go live. If you want a career in ERP, this is the fast track.
What You Will Gain

About You
You will have an understanding of how businesses operate in areas such as:
- Manufacturing
- Finance
- Supply Chain
- Purchasing
- Sales and Distribution
Alongside this, you will have either:
- A relevant degree, or some commercial experience that has exposed you to business systems, ERP, MRP, Master Data, SQL, System Super User, or Business Process.
Most importantly, you will be:
- Curious about how systems shape business operations
- Proactive and keen to learn
- A quick learner who can absorb information
- A confident communicator able to work with colleagues across all levels of the business
- Someone who wants to build a long term career in ERP and business systems
