Market-Leading Manufacturing & Engineering Business | Competitive Salary + Benefits. This is an SAP Business Analyst role that asks you to help shape what comes next. Our client is a market-leading UK manufacturing and engineering business investing seriously in its SAP landscape. With a live transformation agenda spanning SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Cloud ERP and CRM, this is a rare chance to work across the full spectrum: hands-on delivery today, and transformation tomorrow.

You will sit at the heart of the Business Systems team, reporting to the SAP Lead and working shoulder to shoulder with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory and Sales. Your job is to turn real operational challenges into practical, value-driven SAP solutions, and to see them through from workshop to go-live.

What you will be doing:

  • Owning the analysis: running workshops, capturing requirements and mapping as-is to to-be.
  • Shaping solutions: translating business needs into functional specs and supporting configuration across your module strengths.
  • Driving quality: coordinating SIT, UAT and regression testing, and making sure nothing goes live without business sign-off.
  • Enabling users: building documentation and training that people actually use, and championing adoption on the ground.
  • Improving continuously: spotting root causes, killing manual workarounds and contributing to the SAP enhancement roadmap.

What you will bring:

  • SAP Business Analyst or Functional Analyst with at least 3 years' of experience.
  • Functional knowledge of SAP ECC and ideally S/4HANA, with hands-on configuration in at least one module.
  • Cross-functional understanding of MM, SD, Inventory Management and FICO.
  • Experience coordinating testing (SIT, UAT, regression) and producing high-quality process documentation.
  • Exposure to SAP transformation programmes, SAP Public Cloud or RISE with SAP.
  • The communication skills to make technical concepts land with non-technical stakeholders.
  • SAP certification (MM, SD, FICO or S/4HANA) and a relevant degree or professional qualification.
  • FICO configuration, SAP CRM knowledge, or experience with GL, AP and AR processes.
  • P2P process improvement, intercompany processing, data migration or cutover planning.
  • A background in manufacturing or engineering environments.

Why this role:

  • Breadth and impact: a genuine seat at the table on live SAP transformation, not just BAU support.
  • A full landscape: ECC, S/4HANA, Cloud ERP and CRM under one roof, ideal for building a future-proof skill set.
  • Serious commitment: a business that backs its systems agenda with real investment and clear governance.
  • Great company: close collaboration with superusers, IT leadership, integrators and delivery partners.
