Job Summary
GracePath Healthcare is urgently hiring compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our growing healthcare team across the UK. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care to vulnerable individuals, supporting their daily living activities, and promoting independence and dignity. Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Support clients with mobility needs, transfers, and safe movement using hoists or aids.

Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.

Administer medication in accordance with care plans and under supervision.

Monitor and record clients physical and emotional well-being.

Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical stimulation.

Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with nurses, families, and care managers.

Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, infection control, and health & safety protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent overseas qualification).

Good spoken and written English communication skills.

Caring, empathetic, and respectful attitude towards vulnerable individuals.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic knowledge of safeguarding procedures and person-centred care principles.

Willingness to undertake mandatory training and continuous development.
Experience

Preferred: At least 6 months to 1 year of prior experience in a care home, nursing home, domiciliary care, or hospital setting.

Newly trained candidates may also be considered based on attitude, learning ability, and commitment.
Working Hours

Full-time: 37.5 to 48 hours per week

Flexible shifts available: Days, Nights, Weekends, and Bank Holidays
