Houston Skilled Consultancy is actively seeking a highly organized and motivated Senior Warehouse Supervisor to join our clients logistics hub in the United Kingdom. This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing warehouse teams, optimizing inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on leadership, excellent communication skills, and strong operational experience to manage large-scale warehouse functions effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to ensure productivity and performance standards are met.
- Implement efficient systems for inventory management and stock control.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and customer service departments for seamless workflow.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance and operational reports.
- Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and recommend improvements where necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience

Working Hours
- Full-time position based in the UK Logistics Hub.
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility for peak-season shifts and weekend coverage when necessary.
