Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is actively seeking reliable and hardworking Parcel Packing & Sorting teams across the UK. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking for a stable, long-term career with room for growth in the warehousing and distribution sector. Your primary responsibility will be to support the seamless movement of parcels through accurate sorting, packing, labeling, and dispatching at high-paced fulfillment centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort and organize parcels based on destination and delivery schedules
- Pack items securely following company and client-specific packaging protocols
- Operate scanning and labeling equipment to ensure accurate tracking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
- Perform quality control checks to detect and report damaged or incorrect items
- Collaborate with other warehouse operatives and supervisors to meet daily targets
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and report any incidents immediately
- Support loading/unloading of goods from delivery vehicles if required
- Keep updated records using basic data entry systems and warehouse software
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic proficiency in English (spoken and written)
