Job Summary
GracePath Healthcare is a trusted provider of person-centred domiciliary care services across the UK. We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Homecare Assistants who are already based in the UK and are eligible for visa sponsorship switches. In this rewarding role, you will deliver essential care services that support individuals in maintaining their independence, dignity, and quality of life in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily personal care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility support and help with transfers and positioning.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required.
- Administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policies.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful social interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervisors.
- Follow safeguarding protocols and contribute to the overall wellbeing of the service user.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Must be currently residing in the UK and eligible for visa sponsorship switch (Tier 2).
- Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Empathetic, respectful, and dedicated to high-quality care.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
- Right to work documentation and clear Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (or willingness to undergo one).
- Ability to follow written care plans and complete daily care records accurately.
Experience
- Desirable: 6+ months of experience in a similar care role (homecare, residential care, or hospital setting).
- Not essential: Full training will be provided for committed candidates with the right attitude and values.
Working Hours
- Flexible shifts available: Morning, Evening, and Weekend Rotas.
- Full-time and part-time positions offered.
- Minimum 30 hours per week for Tier 2 Visa Sponsorship.
- Overtime opportunities and guaranteed hour contracts available upon request.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep understanding of person-centred care principles.
- Ability to manage multiple care duties with calmness and patience.
- Knowledge of health & safety practices, safeguarding, and infection control.
