Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and promote mental wellbeing.
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate care records in line with policies.
- Support meal preparation, feeding, and hydration according to nutritional needs.
- Help with mobility and use of mobility aids or lifting equipment (if trained).
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community outings.
- Report any changes in health or behavior to the care coordinator or supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients.
- Comply with GracePath Healthcares safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic education (Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent).
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to care for others.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS (criminal background) checks.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Working Hours
- Full-Time: 35–48 hours per week.
