Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking motivated and dependable individuals for the position of Entry-Level Warehouse Operative. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the warehouse operations, primarily in the picking, packing, and dispatching of orders. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, punctual, and ready to begin a long-term career in logistics and supply chain management. No prior experience is necessary—comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders based on pick lists

  • Label, scan, and sort packages for dispatch

  • Perform quality checks to ensure items are packed correctly and meet company standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and order within the warehouse

  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

  • Load and unload delivery trucks when required

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines

  • Operate handheld scanners and warehouse systems after training

  • Report inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors immediately

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 15-20 kg if required

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

  • No prior warehouse experience required (training will be provided)

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, retail, or manufacturing environment is a plus but not mandatory

Working Hours

  • Monday to Saturday (Rotational Offs)

  • Shifts Available: Morning (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM), Afternoon (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM), and Night (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

  • Occasional overtime may be required based on workload

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer or scanner knowledge is advantageous

  • Willingness to adapt to changing job demands and schedules

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts
