MARKETING DIRECTOR Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying. JOB TITLE: Marketing Director DIRECT REPORT: Managing Director LOCATION: Remote/Hybrid – Gloucestershire SALARY: UP to £50,000 OTE HOURS: 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK / MON-FRI We are looking for a Marketing Director to help us develop and expand our internal and external Marketing. This role is focused on the management of all the business’ marketing needs in their entirety. Mashie Golf is an exciting and expanding business with established and new partnerships with great brands from across the Golf and lifestyle industries. We have over 11,000 members in the UK, and schedule regular marketing material to them both on behalf of ourselves and our partners. We are also looking to gain further public exposure of our products and offerings via online marketing channels. To be successful in this role, you will have long terms working experience in, and a passion for Marketing, Excellent Communication Skills, and preferably a strong working knowledge of the Golf Industry. This role will require travel, and it is important that all applicants can drive and have their own car. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES The Marketing Director will be responsible for but not limited to the following; Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with business goals, budget and targets as well as the needs of our audiences & partners Manage our content calendar to ensure regular content across all core channels, including the management of social media posts Write and optimise a range of engaging content; including website copy, members app content and messaging, social media posts, WhatsApp, and email campaigns Manage media announcements and press releases as required Work alongside MASHIE Partners to make sure deliverables are being met Provide regular reporting and analytics to measure performance and inform future plans Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor content strategies Produce up to date and engaging content that can be used across Marketing channels Work with the MASHIE team to Promote engagement with the MASHIE product Manage the various Mashie databases and keeping them up to date whilst ensuring GDPR requirements are adhered to OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Attend Mashie Events and assist with the running of them. Work closely with Mashie Events, Partner Club & Membership teams to maximise opportunities. WHAT YOU\’VE GOT Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing role. Degree in Marketing, Communications or related, preferable but not essential. Commercial acumen is essential Industry experience, preferable but not essential Ideally, you will have experience of working in a sales environment Organisational and project management skills Proven experience in content strategy development and implementation Experience in social media marketing & scheduling tools Experience in the designing, layout and content of marketing communications. Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills You are an enthusiastic self-motivated person, have a problem-solving mind Creative and detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management skills A passion for golf and working in the industry. Have a full, clean driving licence and own transport.
