Executive Chef for high end, laid back multi award winning luxury Boutique Hotel operation on a private Island just off the coast of Australia. This world class property has been voted the No1 Boutique Hotel In Australia & South Pacific for a number of years since 2020. Enjoy a world class working environment & a good chunk of island lifestyle.
Salary / Package: Base salary circa $110k AUD + Bonus plus your own private on site accommodation, all your meals, bills, internet, laundry & monthly outgoings are provided for you - so you will have ZERO monthly costs. The current Executive Chef has funded the building of 3 homes from scratch over the past 10 years. You will enjoy the full range of activities & the island lifestyle on your two days off per week!
Located on a private, sub tropical island, this beautiful boutique hotel offers very high end guests a luxury holiday experience like no other. Along with first class accommodation, the hotel offers a small number of upscale dining options. The ingredients are high end, locally grown, sourced & caught & prepared by some of the best chefs that Australia & Europe have to offer.
We are looking to attract an Executive Chef that has worked to at least fine dining or high standard rosetted gastro (minimum 2-3 Rosettes) for at least 3 years. The food here has a laid back vibe but the quality of the ingredients are world class so you should have experience of working with high end, fresh ingredients where there is a laser focus on flavours & presentation. You must be skilled with the preparation of fresh fish in high volumes & have a good working knowledge of Pastry/Bakery.
Eligibility:
- You must be eligible for an Australian Working Holiday Visa which covers you & your partner for the first 12 months of your employment.
- After the first year your employer has the option to sponsor you for a full Australian Visa or extend your WHV by an additional 2 years.
- The key criteria is that you are under the age of 35 years old at the time of travel & you do not have any criminal convictions.
- The role is only open to a couple. You MUST have a partner that is happy to come with you.
- Suitable work will be provided for your partner somewhere on the resort, even if he/she doesn't have experience in hospitality.
