Relocation Opportunity - Restaurant General Manager - Luxury Lifestyle-Led Hotel Resort - Beautiful 5* Estate & Spa - Circa £50k + Profit Share + Accommodation - South Wales.

A high flying Restaurant General Manager is wanted for a very well-known, established, high-end property working to 1 Rosette in South Wales. The property is stunning, the views are second to none, and the lifestyle is perfect for someone looking to escape the rat race. This is going to be a brilliant role for someone.

The salary is negotiable around £50k+ plus profit share in the business and very high-quality single person accommodation, which is fully expensed, so no bills. We estimate that the accommodation element on its own is worth at least £1500 per month. A two-bedroom apartment can be provided for those looking to relocate with a partner for an interim 3/4 month period to assist in a smooth relocation.

This role is NOT the norm. The plan is to attract a level of talent to this role that aligns perfectly with the Directors' ethos, someone that can elevate the current service offering and can be central to the strategy for the business for the long term. You will be working in lockstep with a group of highly successful entrepreneurs who are well financed and bring a sense of calm, consistent decision making, and a proven commercial acumen.

Our client is looking for a professional, diligent, and skilled Restaurant General Manager with experience of leading similar high-quality teams ideally at the premium or fine dining end of the market. The Directors are keen to hire a successful and proven entrepreneurial Restaurant General Manager who also has a proven track record over the long term.

This will be a hands-on Restaurant General Manager role - leading a team from the front and would suit someone who wants to break free from their current company constraints and shoot the lights out with their next move. You will have autonomy and the space to spread your wings. The F & B numbers here are good but there is more to do, so this role would suit someone who thrives in volume environments where there are lots of moving parts.

The client is looking to lock someone in for the long term with this appointment. They are open to candidates from high-quality Restaurant / Gastro Pub / Hotel / Hotel Resort restaurant backgrounds, but you must have been working at Restaurant Manager level for a minimum of 3 years.

This is a Restaurant Manager role that isn’t going to be for everyone. It’s aimed at a Restaurant Manager who is growing tired of the thankless corporate contingency and all of the daily tick box exercises and the paperwork that goes with it - or a Restaurant Manager at that 'sweet spot' in their career who thinks their only two options are to either get a move managing a larger team and push for a group role within 6 - 12 months or set up on their own. It’s for a Restaurant Manager who knows that there is a lot more to running a large scale restaurant than just running shifts. It’s for a Restaurant Manager who wants the term "my guests" to actually mean something. Perhaps most importantly, it’s for a Restaurant Manager in companies who don’t want to lose the fire in their belly simply because their current company has got nothing better to offer them.

If this sounds like you, send your CV over and we’ll have a look at it for you.
