Relocate to a private island in Australia for an Executive Chef position with a salary of $110k AUD + Bonus + Fully Expensed Accommodation & All Living Costs. This role is open to couples only.

Join a high-end, multi-award-winning luxury boutique hotel operation on a private island just off the coast of Australia. This world-class property has been voted the No.1 Boutique Hotel in Australia & South Pacific for several years since 2020.

The package includes:

  • Base salary circa $110k AUD + Bonus
  • Your own private on-site accommodation
  • All meals, bills, internet, laundry & monthly outgoings provided

The current Executive Chef has successfully funded the building of three homes over the past ten years. Enjoy a full range of activities and the island lifestyle on your two days off per week!

The food philosophy focuses on world-class ingredients, exceptional seafood, beautiful presentation, and flavours that allow the produce to shine. Candidates should have experience in fine dining, luxury hotels, or high-standard rosetted environments (minimum 2 Rosette level or equivalent).

We seek established Executive Chefs who possess strong personality, leadership style, and lifestyle fit. The island community values relationships, simplicity, and a slower pace of life.

Life on a remote paradise island is rewarding but comes with challenges such as weather impacts on deliveries and ingredient availability. The successful candidate will be calm under pressure, practical, resourceful, and adaptable.

Experience in remote locations, rural environments, destination hotels, or close-knit communities is advantageous. Candidates who enjoy fishing, gardening, foraging, and the outdoors often thrive here.

The kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, alongside picnics, BBQ experiences, and changing menus. Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be eligible for an Australian Working Holiday Visa covering you and your partner for the first 12 months.
  • Under the age of 35 at the time of travel.
  • No criminal convictions.
  • Open only to candidates relocating with a partner.
