A fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to escape the rat race running shifts at weekends & evenings and get into something where you can work Mon - Fri daytime hours while applying all of the skills you have acquired running busy restaurant or catering kitchens.
Our client is a leading privately owned Corporate Catering business, offering very high standard restaurant quality food delivered with 5* guest service standards.
This Sous Chef role is site-based 5 days a week. This growing, highly entrepreneurial business is in growth mode, and the Directors are looking to attract high calibre Sous Chef talent to join the team.
We are especially keen to invite applications from Sous Chef candidates who feel ready for a move out of the London restaurant industry rat race into a Mon - Fri lifestyle, but also into something exciting with true autonomy.
This role isn't going to be for everyone. It's aimed at a Sous Chef who is growing tired of the big company thankless corporate contingency and all of the daily tick box exercises and paperwork that goes with it, or a Sous Chef who thinks their only two options are to either take on a Head Chef/multi-site role in their next move or get out of hospitality altogether.
It's for a Sous Chef who knows that there is a lot more to running a kitchen than just following ever stricter budgets and doing the same thing day in, day out. Perhaps most importantly, it's for those in companies who don't want to lose the fire in their belly simply because their current company has got nothing else to offer them.
