A proven CPU Manager is required to head up the production team of a very successful business that is going through a period of growth. You will work closely with the Directors to set up next-level processes, systems and to build out the team as the business readies itself to scale. There will be food development responsibilities with this role as the Directors look to drive the current food offering.

The business prepares approximately 100kg of prep per day that is turned into finished products. You must come from a production background and ideally have a strong understanding of high-volume working systems.

We are looking for someone with first-class commercial skills in food development, an outstanding health & safety and food safety track record, and experience in busy single-site or multi-site fresh-food CPU businesses where the focus is on healthy, on-trend food.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead and manage the production team, ensuring efficient, safe and high-quality food production.
  • Implement and improve food development processes to support the Directors in driving the current food offering.
  • Develop and maintain high-volume working systems that meet business growth objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Directors to navigate the business through future growth plans.
  • Maintain a decade-long track record of safety and quality, demonstrating decisive decision-making and a tenacious management style.
Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in food production (CPU) with a proven track record of managing large-scale operations.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to work in a rapidly evolving, privately-owned group.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and management skills, with the confidence to work closely with the senior leadership team.
  • Demonstrated history of maintaining outstanding health & safety and food safety standards.
