Assistant Events Manager – Mon – Fri Office Hours / NO NIGHTS! – £35k – £40k

A fantastic opportunity for a Restaurant General Manager with Events experience or an Events Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager with high quality hospitality experience that wants to escape the rat race running shifts at weekends & evenings – & get into something where you can work Mon – Fri office hours, but applying all of the skills you have acquired running busy restaurant businesses.

Our client is a leading luxury events provider – they are looking to hire an Assistant Events Manager to assist in the running of up to 15 different events per day. You will be reporting into the Events Operations Manager & assist in the smooth running of the business on a day to day basis. This is not for the feint hearted – this is a complex role with lots of moving parts & so would suit someone who enjoys an environment where no two days are the same.

Ideally you will be a passionate foodie with a good understanding of the London restaurant scene along with a keen interest in what\’s trending at the moment.

You would be based at the beating heart of the business 5 days per week rather than out on location but this is far from a boring office job.

We are especially keen to invite applications from Events Manager candidates from Restaurant backgrounds that feel ready for a move out of the unsociable shift patterns lifestyle but also into something exciting with true autonomy.

This is an Events Manager role that isn\’t going to be for everyone. It\’s aimed at an Events Manager that may be growing tired of the big company thankless contingency mindset and all of the daily tick box exercises and the paperwork that goes with it – or an Event Manager who thinks their only two options are to either take on a sideways role in their next move or get out of Hospitality all together. It\’s for an Event Manager who knows that there is a lot more to running a Event than just following ever stricter budgets & doing the same thing day in, day out. It\’s for those who want the term \”my guests\” to actually mean something. Perhaps most importantly it\’s for those in companies who don\’t want to lose the fire in their belly simply because their current company has got nothing else to offer them.

If this sounds like you – send your CV over & we\’ll have a look a it for you.
