Support Worker – Trafford / Altrincham Area
Part-Time | 12–18 Hours Per Week | Includes Weekend Work
Are you a confident, compassionate individual with a big personality and a desire to make a difference? We’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team, helping a young adult with high-functioning autism thrive and grow towards independence.
What We’re Looking For:
- Driver with access to a car – essential for travel in and around Altrincham (you must live within 15 minutes of the area)
- Experience with Autism – you understand the challenges and strengths that come with autism, and how to offer meaningful support
- Strong communication skills – English must be your first language due to communication needs
- Engaging and outgoing personality – we need someone who’s warm, approachable, and not afraid to take initiative with lots of energy and enthusiasm
Your Role Will Involve:
- Supporting a young adult to build social connections and engage in community activities
- Encouraging and enabling them to develop independence and confidence
- ü Being a positive presence , a role model, and a trusted companion
What You’ll Get:
- Salary : £13.40ph weekdays, £14.40ph weekends
- Guaranteed Hours After Probation : Once you\’ve passed probation, we can guarantee up to 50% of the hours you commit to working each week
