Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your career? We re looking for a dedicated and ambitious Senior Carer to join our supportive and growing team. This full-time or part-time , salaried position offers a blend of office-based responsibilities and hands-on care when needed, providing a fantastic opportunity to transition into a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and independence.
- Mentor and support new care staff, fostering a culture of best practice and professional growth.
- Monitor and support compliance with company policies and care standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely care documentation and compliance records.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide hands-on care when needed to maintain continuity for clients.
Requirements:
- Compassionate, friendly, and proactive with a dependable nature.
- Previous homecare experience (a senior title is not required).
- Willing to work alternate weekends.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred or working towards).
- Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rota (one weeknight and one weekend in four).
Desirable:
- Familiarity with CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Experience in a supervisory or senior care role.
