Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Self employed Live-in Care Assistant:

  • Providing personal care duties
  • Administering medication
  • Manual handling, using equipment where required
  • Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full
  • Household chores
  • Meal preparation
  • Shopping
  • Social Outings
  • Offering our customers companionship

To begin with you will live with our customers for 3 weeks on and one week off but once you’re embedded into your role, you will be able to stay for a maximum of 8 working weeks at a time.

Your Experience and Suitability for the Self employed Live-in Care Assistant Role:

Previous experience is a bonus but not a requirement. Self employed Live-in Care Assistants are matched to our customers to ensure our customers and you get along so the most important thing to us is that you are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We want a team who genuinely cares for each of our customers as if they were their own family.

  • Competitive rates of £750 - £800 per week
  • A separate room to stay

  • Regular, scheduled daily breaks which you can spend as you wish in or outside of the customer’s home
  • A clearly defined schedule of working time vs downtime during each day

Key Requirements:

  • DBS disclosure - Update service
  • Have 3 suitable references (professional and/or educational)
  • Have experience of delivering care
  • Ideally but not necessary have a valid driving licence and vehicle
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Have a good standard of verbal and written English
  • Be able to provide all mandatory up to date training certificates
