Your Role as a Care Assistant:
- Supporting personal care such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assisting with meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional needs
- Providing medication reminders and monitoring health needs
- Supporting mobility, including walking aids, transfers, or hoists
- Offering companionship, emotional support, and reassurance
- Helping with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and tidying to maintain a safe environment
- Accurately recording care activities, noting changes, and reporting concerns
- Encouraging clients to engage in hobbies, appointments, or community activities to maintain independence
