About the Role
- Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care tailored to individual needs
- Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Support with meal preparation and hydration
- Help with medication reminders or, where trained, administration
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and safe moving & handling
- Support with household tasks (light cleaning, laundry)
- Accompany clients to appointments or community activities
- Monitor wellbeing and report changes or concerns
- Encourage independence and promote dignity at all times
- Build trusting, meaningful relationships with clients and families
