Start a Career That Makes a Real Difference
Do you have a kind heart, a full UK driving licence, and your own car? If you’re looking for more than “just a job” — and want work that feels purposeful, local, and genuinely rewarding — this could be the role for you.
As a Care Professional in domiciliary care, you’ll support older adults in the place they feel safest and happiest: their own home. You won’t be rushing from 15-minute call to 15-minute call. Instead, you’ll have minimum one-hour visits, realistic travel time, and the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with the same clients each week. This is care done properly — unhurried, respectful, and relationship-led.
Why Join Our Watford Team?
We’re growing locally and carefully — keeping client runs close together so your travel stays manageable and your day feels structured. We offer:
- Guaranteed Hours contracts (10, 12, 16, 20 or 30 hours per week)
- Zero-hours contracts for maximum flexibility
- Minimum 1-hour visits — no rushed care
- Paid training & DBS covered
- Referral bonuses of £300+
- Local client clusters to reduce travel time
- A friendly, supportive office team who know you by name
Whether you want stable, guaranteed income or flexible shifts that fit around family or other commitments — we’ll help you find what works.
Your Role as a Domiciliary Care Professional
You’ll be supporting clients in their own homes across the Watford area — helping them remain independent, safe, and confident in familiar surroundings. Your visits may include:

- Preparing meals and supporting good nutrition
- Light household tasks to keep the home safe and comfortable
- Companionship, conversation, and emotional reassurance
- Helping clients attend appointments or enjoy local outings
- Being a consistent, trusted presence in someone’s week
Domiciliary care is about more than tasks — it’s about continuity, trust, and building routines that help someone live well at home. Because you’ll see many of the same clients regularly, you’ll have time to truly understand their preferences, life stories, and needs — making your work more personal and far more rewarding.

- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
- Able to work alternate weekends
