Your Role as a Waking Nights Care Assistant
During overnight shifts, you’ll help ensure clients remain safe, comfortable, and supported.
Your duties may include:
- Providing reassurance and companionship overnight
- Supporting with personal care and toileting needs
- Assisting with medication (where trained)
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding to night-time needs
- Light housekeeping where required
- Supporting independence while promoting dignity and comfort
