Area Driver / Manager

Position: Area Manager (Hertfordshire, North, Central and West London, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire)    Benefits: 20 days holiday and company pension,    The Company:    Speciality Oxygen Service is the UK’s leading independent medical gases manufacturer and supplier. We are experiencing high demand and rapid growth and as such we are looking for an Area Manager to join our expanding team. Our team of 24 people supply emergency medical gases and equipment to various industries throughout England, Scotland and Wales including sports, leisure, dental, GP, security, wholesale trade.    Job Purpose:    SOS is looking for an efficient, organised and friendly Area Manager to take responsibility for customer accounts in Hertfordshire, North, Central and West London, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire.

Warehouse based in Only (near Milton Keynes) so idea candidate must be located within half an hours drive of this site.\\n  \\n Key Responsibilities & Tasks: \\n \\nRespond to customer call outs on a next-day basis \\nUpdate the call-out database daily after customer site visits \\nUpdate customer information on Excel and barcode databases  \\nSupport other Area Managers  \\nMaintaining strong relationships and excellent customer care with all customers and responding to their needs in a timely fashion \\nEnsure all expiring cylinders are exchanged before their due date \\nComplete customer audits and collections promptly \\nOngoing feedback to management team with customer updates \\nEnsure supplies are well stocked with cylinders and ancillary equipment Skills, Qualifications & Experience: \\n \\nThis position will require the successful candidate to juggle many elements within their role, so they will need to be efficient and organised with the ability to work as part of a team as well independently  \\nThere is a lot of driving required in this job so applicants will need to be happy driving for long periods of time, and hold a full, clean driving licence  \\nYou will be required to have some IT experience as emailing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and a database system are an essential part of the role  \\nYou will need to be confident and have a friendly disposition, dealing with customers will be a daily occurrence  \\nYou will need to be flexible with your working hours as you will be expected to respond to occasional customer call-outs, out of hours and at weekends.
