Mash Direct, based on a working farm close to Comber are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of our yard and public outside area. This role involves a variety of tasks including maintaining outside areas and walkways, clear, clean and organised. The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety. Duties Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the yard area, ensuring it is free from hazards. Maintaining lawns and green areas, planting and weeding of flowerbeds, hedge strimming. Keeping walkways, car parks free of litter Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or yard environment is preferred Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is an advantage. Knowledge and experience of operating garden equipment including strimmer\’s and mowers Ability to perform manual handling and lifting duties Strong organisational skills with attention to detail A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork is essential for success in this role Applicants should be physically fit to fulfil requirements of this role.
