Dig in and grow with us. Mash Direct is a proud, family-run business producing real food, done properly. From our farm in County Down to supermarket shelves across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the UK, we grow, cook and pack vegetables we’re proud to put our name to.

Due to increased customer demand and expanded production schedules, we’re now recruiting Production Operatives to join our growing factory team across both day and night shifts. These are full-time, permanent roles, working 45 hours per week, with a premium rate paid on hours worked over 46.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you’ll play a hands-on role in preparing and packing Mash Direct products to the highest standards of quality, safety and consistency.
  • Preparing, washing and peeling vegetables
  • Operating production and packing machinery
  • Manual handling of prepared goods
  • Weighing, sealing and sleeving products
  • Carrying out quality checks across production lines
  • Meeting waste and efficiency targets
  • Basic clean-down of equipment
  • Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures

Working hours:

You’ll work 5 days over 6, Monday to Saturday, as part of a 45-hour working week. Shift times vary by department but a typical day looks like 5:00am - 3:00pm or 7:00am - 5:00pm.
