The business continues to expand on its founding success and has ambitious plans for 2025. To achieve growth plans, the business is recruiting a:- SENIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER This newly created role has been created to establish and build out the supply chain function within Mash Direct. We are seeking to recruit new talent to innovate and integrate the planning and supply chain function within the business. This role will evolve over the next 12 months and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the role and their career path at Mash Direct. Day to day responsibilities will include planning and managing schedules for chilled and frozen products, liaising with departments to ensure efficiency of production processes and optimising inventory levels to ensure production schedules are met and customer orders fulfilled. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage production schedules for frozen and chilled products. Plan staffing schedules to meet production demands. Coordinate with production on a daily basis to ensure most efficient run orders of products ensuring supply of raw materials and resources. Collaborate with the production team to optimise workflow and minimize downtime. Analyse production data and adjust schedules as needed to meet targets. Communicate production plans and changes to relevant departments. Prepare and present production reports to the wider team, (actual vs planned) Monitor and implement the forecasting tool to agree frozen stock well in advance. Oversee inventory management of Finished Goods. Criteria: Previous Supply Chain / Production Planner experience in the food industry or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production planning and inventory management. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
