We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Children's Support Worker / Domiciliary Care Assistant to support a young person with additional needs in the Sale area. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children build confidence, have fun, and access activities safely while receiving high-quality, person-centred care.

The Role:

  • Part-time role
  • 5 mornings per week
  • 9:00am - 1:00pm
  • Monday to Friday only – no weekends
  • Based in Trafford
  • Working as part of a supportive care team
  • Supporting the young person at home and in the community
  • Accompanying them on outings, activities and day trips
  • Assisting with mobility and wheelchair handling
  • Providing personal care with dignity and respect
  • Creating a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment

What We're Looking For:

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, patient and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
  • Experience supporting non-verbal children or young people
  • A caring, reliable and positive approach
  • Confidence working as part of a team
  • Physically able to assist with wheelchair handling

Preferred:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (business insurance will be required)
