Are you an experienced, patient and caring Support Worker or Domiciliary Care Assistant looking for a rewarding part-time role with no weekend working? We are looking for an experienced Adult Support Worker / Domiciliary Care Assistant to support a young male with additional needs in Timperley, Trafford. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building confidence, providing encouragement and helping someone enjoy meaningful activities in a safe and supportive environment.

The Role:

  • You will provide person-centred support to a young male client, helping him to enjoy his afternoons and maintain his independence.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 3pm–7pm
    • Providing consistent, person-centred support
    • Supporting the client at home and with appropriate activities
    • Providing encouragement and reassurance
    • Providing minor support with personal care
    • Assisting safely with wheelchair handling
    • Helping create a positive, engaging and enjoyable environment
    • Working alongside a supportive and experienced care team

About You

We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, energetic and genuinely passionate about supporting people with additional needs.

Essential:

  • Previous experience supporting adults with additional needs, SEN and/or Autism
  • A caring, patient and positive approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Comfortable working as part of a wider care team
  • Reliable and committed to the agreed weekday hours

Desirable:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to your own vehicle
  • Business insurance for work-related driving
