We are looking for full-time chefs with experience in restaurants of a similar calibre to Maset.
About Maset: Maset opened in October 2025, and is an all-day restaurant located on scenic Chiltern Street, serving cuisine from the south of France and north of Spain.
About Our Group: Donostia has received critical acclaim since its opening in 2012. We serve Basque inspired tapas and pintxo dishes using the best quality, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant is highly established having been open for over 13 years, with many loyal and regular guests. Much pride is taken in the knowledge and sourcing behind the food and wine. We focus on quality. Lurra is a Basque Grill in Marylebone focusing on seasonal produce cooked over wood and charcoal. The restaurant is also highly established having been open for ten years. Lurra is a fine-casual restaurant with attentive, well-informed, friendly service. We take a lot of pride in the knowledge and sourcing behind our food and wine. As an independent we have flexibility in our offer; we have a daily specials board curated by our team of chefs and we introduce new wines regularly, some of which are imported directly and are exclusive to us.
About the Role: This is an incredibly exciting and rewarding opportunity for a chef who comes from a high-calibre background, and has a friendly, positive attitude. The kitchen is well organised and delivers the best dishes to our guests. You must be a passionate and talented individual who can remain calm and in control under pressure, with the ability to work with a small team of chefs.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Quality driven
- Have excellent culinary skills with great attention to detail
- Knowledge of Basque / Spanish and Southern French food a plus
- Have sound knowledge of hygiene and health & safety requirements
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure
