Solution Architect
The Enterprise/Solution architect performs a critical role in the effective delivery of IT services. They are responsible for the development of high-level business strategy or tactical business requirements, identifying the business capabilities that are needed and translating them into new technical solutions. They also review existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement or replacement. You will need extensive experience of TOGAF to deliver within this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify required business capabilities and define the systems architectures and solutions that deliver these
- Develop business capability roadmaps working with Head of Applications
- For new projects capture business requirements, develop high level solutions and contribute to the development of robust business cases
- Ensure initiatives are set up for success and aligned with the clients overall strategies
Key Skills
- Enterprise architecture methods (e.g. TOGAF)
- Business Analysis skills including formal methods e.g. process flows, use cases etc
- Extensive SAP experience – preferably Finance, Aftermarket and Manufacturing
- Relationship-building and influencing
- Strategic thinking
- Strong communication skills – written, spoken and presentation
- Ability to be collaborative effectively
